This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Lake Superior
and the Nearshore waters of western Lake Superior.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and Tonight

Small Craft Advisories remain in effect due to gusty winds and
elevated wave heights in excess of 3 feet for large portions of
western Lake Superior. Winds will continue to ease and waves will
subside through early this evening, ending the threat to smaller
vessels.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

Winds will veer northeasterly Thursday morning and strengthen
once again. By early afternoon expect northeast winds of 10 to 25
knots with gusts of 20 to 30 knots. Waves will build from
northeast to southwest with wave heights of 4 to 7 feet near the
Twin Ports. These conditions will be hazardous to smaller vessels.
Winds will gradually weaken Thursday night and early Friday
morning as they veer southerly which will end the risk to smaller
craft.

Periods of gusty winds and waves dangerous to smaller vessels are
likely Friday and possible again Saturday.

Gusty northeast winds and dangerous waves are forecast again
Monday afternoon through Tuesday night.
